Hi all,

I used to play Fleet Command around 5 years ago and loved this Mod. I stopped due to other circumstances i wont go into however recently i saw whilst on steam games the naval strategy pack or something like that that had fleet command under it. Naturally i bought it and automatically started looking for the Mod i used to use and brought a completely different feel to the game NwP.

I was amazed to find its still actively going and more so impressed by reading through the manuals the level of development that has gone into it since i stopped playing ages ago. I'm having problems however with the install as i downloaded the game through steam and tried to follow the prompts with a fresh install as in the manual for this Mod. The problem is that i cant install form disk as specified in the instructions even with a fresh install it doesn't recognize units in game and the new scenarios that come with the Mod.

If anyone has any tips on a way to install it that will make the mod work i would be very appreciative as at the moment i know what i am missing out on :p.

Kind regards,

Hugh.

Hi Jittery

Welcome to the navalwarfare forums. :)

About your problem you need to tell the NWP V18.3 Release installer to install NWP V18.3 into

(C) /Program Files/Steam/steamapps/common/fleet command

Then it should work ok I think, I would check it for you, but I don't use the Steam version any more. :)

Right I have just try it and it works fine, reinstall fleet command, went you come to install NWP double left click on all of these folders.

D:\Program Files, Steam, steamapps, common, fleet command.

Then click Ok then next and let the auto-installer do it's thing then it should work fine. ;)
