Subs can't work

Hi guys,

Just installed v19 b23 to SCS-FC in Steam.

Well, everything is fine and dandy so far...except that somehow there's no way that I can control subs.

It's like the icons are grayed out. So just wondering if there's sm way to get it back to work again.

Nothing makes my day than seeing Tomahawks n Harpoons flying off from a submerged sub.

Hope someone can help in a way or 2. =)

Welcome to the navalwarfare forums. :)

All you need to do is, go to

Local Dick (C) /Program Files/Steam/steamapps/common/fleet command

Find a file called Fleet Command.ini open it with notepad and go down the page and till you come to.

Hey Sharp

Yep that's right, have you install the NWP19.0 Installer? If not uninstall Fleet Command and delete the fleet command folder if you have got the Steam verison of FC. :)

Local Dick (C) /Program Files/Steam/steamapps/common/fleet command

Or if you have got the Naval Combat Pack verison, delete the Sonalysts Combat Simulations folder. :cool:

Local Dick (C) /Program Files/Sonalysts Combat Simulations/

Then reinstall Fleet Command and the NWP19.0 Installer, and then you should have no problems controlling the subs. :)

Hi, i have tryed what you said (i uninstalled everything and reinstalled) i did have NWP 19.0 installer.

could it be a vista problem? I have used NWP before but that was on XP. Now i have swiched to Vista i cant control them? could this be the reasion?

Ok, lets start over at the beginning. Describe your problem.

No I don't see it as being a Vista problem.

Yep has Mike D said it nothing to do with Vista, have you got the (On-demand Sub Comms)check in the Game Options?

Also make sure you have two spaces between the, .SubComms and Yes in the Fleet Command.ini file,

and not like these four below.

.SubComms Yes WRONG
