I was thinking this morning that it would be nice to have the option of enlarging the battle area in the mission editor to perhaps double the current size. While this miight not be needed for all scenarios it could be useful for larger campaign style missions. For example, your game map could now include the whole of Japan and the Kurile Islands or most of the North Atlantic etc.
This assumes of course that this function of the game is not hard coded and would not cause the program to become unstable. Ideally, when generating the mission the scenario designer would be able to choose the size of the area he wished to include to at least some extent.

That can't be done. The size of the battle area is hardwired into the game it isn't something NWS can change.
